Membership
A hundred and fifty people. Not everyone is the same.
We've been adapting since birth to get what we need. These behaviours go back so far, and we've repeated them for so long, that they've become ingrained as personality.
Which one are you? tap a name to find out what happens
Says yes before thinking it through. Good. We will see you at The Room, no RSVP, no agenda, just turn up.
Always working on something, rarely finished. Bring whatever it is. Someone at The Table will ask about it.
Building three things at once, sleeps when it ships. Fair warning: nobody is building anything with you here. Come anyway.
Charming, unreliable with a reply, worth it anyway. Reply to the RSVP this time.
Asks the question nobody else wanted to ask. There is always one of you at The Table, stalling dinner. It is welcome.
Last to leave, first to RSVP for the next one. The Meet on Sunday will hurt. Go anyway.
One membership. Not a ladder.
There is no better tier to buy, because there is nothing to buy your way into. Everyone pays the same price. What changes over time is standing, and standing is earned by turning up, not by paying more.
Pricing is shown when you apply.
- Full access to The Room, The Table, The Meet and The Dinner.
- One invitation a year, to fast-track someone you think belongs here.
- A first-come seat at The Table.
- Turn up often enough in a month and you become eligible. The host decides who actually becomes a Regular from there.
- A seat held at The Table, rather than first-come.
- A guest privilege: bring one person to The Table.
- Two invitations a year instead of one.
- Complimentary items at The Room, from a pool set aside for Regulars.
Regular standing is not taken away just because you attend less for a while, but it can be revoked by the host. It was never something you bought, so it is not something billing can restore.
Why it works this way
A club that runs on repetition cannot have paid shortcuts to closeness. That would undercut the entire premise. So the only way up is the same thing that makes the club work in the first place: being there.
Frequently asked questions
Pricing is revealed when you apply. We would rather you meet the club on its own terms first.
You can pay monthly or every six months. There is no annual plan.
By turning up. There is no application for it and no way to request it. Attend enough in a given month and you become eligible, and the host decides from there. It is not a leaderboard and there is not one to check.
It is not taken away just for a quiet month, but the host can revoke it if it is warranted. It was granted at their discretion, not bought, so it stays at their discretion.
Tell us before the event and that is the end of it. There is no penalty for letting us know. Unexplained no-shows are the thing that matters: three of them without notice puts your membership on hold pending a conversation, not a removal.
Regulars can bring one guest to The Table, approved by the host. Beyond that, invitations are the way to bring someone into the club properly. They fast-track a candidate to the front of the queue, but everyone still has the short call and can still be turned down.
You can cancel any time. Full detail is in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, but in short: cancel within 7 days of a payment and haven't attended anything, and you get everything back. After that, your unused time is refunded pro-rata.
Yes, the club is capped. Past a certain size it stops being the same faces every week, which is the entire mechanism. It is a requirement, not a marketing device.
No. Applications are read individually and nobody needs an existing connection to the club to be considered.
If you are shortlisted, there is a short call, about ten minutes, not an interview, just enough that nobody arrives as a stranger. You will hear either way within a week.
